Overview

The Impact Tech Entrepreneurship Program is a comprehensive journey designed to equip aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to create impactful technological ventures. Spanning over two years of learning, action, mentorship, and practice (LAMP), the program offers a flexible, non-linear pathway through four core modules and a contextual module, allowing participants to tailor their learning experience to their specific needs.

Program Structure:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Technological Entrepreneurship

This foundational module introduces the essence of entrepreneurship, exploring its stages, challenges, and the personal attributes required for success. Participants will develop a clear understanding of entrepreneurship concepts, debunk common myths, and craft their own entrepreneurial goals and vision statements.

Module 2: Technology Skills Development

Focusing on the technological competencies essential for modern entrepreneurs, this module covers hardware validation, customer and user knowledge, technology ethics, and emerging technologies. Learners will gain hands-on experience with AI, data science, and cybersecurity, enhancing their ability to innovate responsibly and strategically.

Module 3: Business Skills Development

This module delves into the business acumen necessary for scaling ventures. Topics include manufacturing optimization, supply chain management, business modeling, finance, marketing, and global expansion strategies. Emphasis is placed on practical skills such as pitching, negotiation, and crisis management, preparing entrepreneurs to navigate the complexities of growing a business.

Module 4: Community & User Engagement

Emphasizing the importance of social responsibility and user-centric approaches, this module guides entrepreneurs in building inclusive teams, understanding markets, and fostering sustainable practices. Participants will learn to engage effectively with communities, incorporate feedback, and leverage green technologies for societal impact.

Module 5: Local Context and Regulations

Recognizing the importance of operating within specific legal and cultural contexts, this module provides an overview of local business structures, tax considerations, and regulatory environments. Through local case studies, entrepreneurs will explore best practices in business models, technical acceptance, and community enablement within their regions.
